The Mayor with the consent of the Council may appoint a Library Board consisting of five (5) members, one of which shall be a member of the Council and one a nonvoting, ex-officio member, who may, at the time of appointment be under twenty one (21) years of age. Such members shall hold their office for five (5) years from the date of appointment, and until their successors are appointed.
The youth member shall be appointed for a term up to one year and may be reappointed up to four (4) successive terms. (Ord. 614, 5-15-2000)
