The special meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Gooding, Idaho was called to order at 6:00 pm in the Gooding Municipal Building, 308 5th Ave West, Gooding, Idaho on February 13, 2017.
Present were Mayor Nelson, Councilpersons Arkoosh, France, Houser and Magnelli.
Present were City Clerk Hollye Lierman, Public Works Director Todd Bunn, Assistant Public Works Director Larry Bybee, Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Paul Childs and Attorney Craig Hobdey.
Jim Mullins – Keller Associates, Oksana Roth – Keller Associates, Ryan Spanton – Goble Sampson Associates and Brooks Newbry – Aero-Mod Inc.
Changes to Agenda (Idaho Code 67-2343 Sec 4 (b))
Wastewater Facilities Planning Study – Aero-Mod Presentation: Ryan Spanton from Goble Sampson Associates and Brooks Newbry from Aero-Mod, Inc. gave a presentation about the Aero-Mod Wastewater Facility.
Proposed Fence Ordinance: Attorney Hobdey will present the proposed fence ordinance and the first reading is scheduled for February 21, 2017.
Proposed Animal Shelter Ordinance: The Council would like to meet with the County Commissioners to discuss fines and rules for the shelter.
Clover Creek Subdivision Common Areas: Discussion was held whether or not the City wants to be responsible for the common areas in the Clover Creek Subdivision. The Council will have their decision for Mrs. Gaines at the next regular council meeting on February 21, 2017.
Executive Session: Councilman France moved to adjourn into executive session in accordance with Idaho Code 74-206 Section (f) to communicate with legal counsel at 8:05 pm. Motion seconded by Councilman Arkoosh. Upon roll call, Councilpersons Arkoosh, France, Houser and Magnelli voted aye. Motion carried.
The meeting reconvened at 8:21 p.m.
