The Gooding City Council meets regularly on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Gooding Municipal Building, 308 5th Ave West, Gooding, Idaho.
The Gooding Mayor, City Council and Staff welcome you to attend their meetings. We appreciate and encourage public participation. However, the formality of procedures varies with the purpose and subject of the agenda item; therefore, the Mayor may exercise discretion in deciding when to allow public comment during the course of the proceedings and limitations may be placed on the time allowed for comments.
Citizens wishing to address the Mayor and Council may call the City Clerk 208 934-5669 and ask to be placed on the agenda. Any person requiring special assistance should call five days prior to the meeting so that arrangements may be made.
Public Hearings – Items listed as public hearings allow citizens to comment on the subject matter before the Council. Comments from residents or visitors upon the item before the Council will be recorded by the clerk in the official record of the City Council. If necessary, testimony by the public will be limited to 3 minutes per person.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, by the City of Gooding, Idaho, will hold a public hearing on April 15, 2013 at City Hall, 308 5th Ave West, Gooding at 6:00 pm. The purpose of the public hearing is to present the Gooding Facility Planning Study. The main purposes of the meeting are to explain the proposed upgrades to the drinking water delivery system, costs involved, potential financial impact on the public, and to solicit verbal and written comments regarding the alternatives under consideration. A copy of the plan is available at City Hall beginning April 4, 2013 for review. Written comments will be accepted for a period of fourteen (14) days following this date. After considering and addressing comments, the City Council will select an alternative and document the selection.
